INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY

The school encourages early, confident familiarity with computers. ICT is incorporated across the curriculum offering the children many opportunities for using digital cameras, microscopes, computers and control vehicles.  Our school has a dedicated computer suite enabling classes and small groups to be taught in all areas of ICT including the use of the Internet, e-mail, scanning, design programmes, spreadsheets and word processing.  Interactive whiteboards are used widely during lessons.

We use a variety of programs to encourage good keyboard skills including BBC Dance Mat Typing.
