We select a wide range of texts designed to promote high levels of literacy across the ability range.  Our children are encouraged to develop their writing skills through reading, speaking, listening and drama activities. Spelling strategies are learned systematically through a weekly spelling programme.  Children develop a cursive handwriting style.
