Commonwealth Day
The Children at Chesham Bois have recently celebrated Commonwealth Day. Commonwealth Day is the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations held on the second Monday in March, and marked by a multi-faith service in Westminister Abbey, which the Queen attends as head of the Commonwealth.
In the United Kingdom, the Union Flag is flown from public buildings on the second Monday in March to mark Commonwealth Day. The Scottish Parliament Building also flies the Commonwealth Flag from the fourth flagpole.
The Commonwealth is a unique membership organisation of 53 Countries spread across the world, with english as a common language and shared past.
The photographs display the work produced by the pupils to celebrate Commonwealth Day.
