About our school...

Chesham  Bois  Schoolis a controlled Church of England Combined School, having close links with the parish church of Chesham Bois.

The school moved to its present site in 1893. Since the 1960s it has grown from a small school, which provided only for the villageof Chesham Bois, to a flourishing establishment serving a significantly wider area. It has however retained the best characteristics of a voluntary controlled village school, with a strong sense both of community and common purpose amongst children, staff and parents. It is a friendly school, and a happy school with a special feel to it.

The school and its Governing Body have striven to create a rich learning environment where pupils are enabled to develop spiritually, socially and academically to their full potential.

Our Mission Statement:

"As a church school, it is our concern to ensure that all pupils understand their unique value and importance in the eyes of God and are given every opportunity to develop their full potential. We aim to develop a community which extends a special quality of care to all those involved with the life of the school. Christian values are taught and experienced, and pupils are given a good grounding in and understanding of the Christian faith."
