We love our new school and house. It's great. We only have to jump over the back gate to explore a load of fields.

We miss all our friends.

Our school only has 78 pupils. Small! Hannah, now she is year 4 only has 8 people in her year!!!

Ah I'm so annoyed because we were going to Oxford for two nights on wednesday but we can't go because our car's in the garage because we sent to get it fixed but they just broke something else so I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOANNOYED!!!!!!! IT'S SO BORING WITHOUT A CAR...... and a best friend, Sarah's gone to Rome for the WHOLE WEEK so I can't meet up with her AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH I CAN'T STAND STAYING IN THE HOUSE UNTIL THURSDAY! oh well, at least I'm going to Lucys on thursday yay..... at least not all of my bezzies have gone to Rome......... but that's the only thing I'm doing this half term..... and housework. I've had a fab time in the snow...and inside with a mug of Hot Chocolate! For New Year I went to Center Parcs and had loads of fun horse-riding, cycling, taking part in Crazy Golf, e.t.c!! I hope everyone likes the new Wake Up Shake Up! It was really fun to make up, and I love the Crazy Frog music - it's really catchy!

hi its Blaise hope everyone is having a gr8 time im so lucky for xmas i got thorpe park tickets and im going with Harriet and i also got a ipod touch and £50 from my nan in Australia and £25 from my auntie in Australia i also got a wii fit and an ipod doc wich is soooo big and i sold my old old ipod for £50 and now ive got a ipod touch and in the summer holidays im going to Australia to see my nan. Sometimes on the guestbook, people ask questions and if people know the answer, they just have to put it as a normal message. Maybe we could have a reply button after every message so if someone says something like: "It snowed today and I made a snowman," then people could reply and say what they did in the snow.

BOO HOO!

I didn't want to leave today. I was soooo close to crying but I managed to hold it in.

The leaver's party was AWSOME. We had this giant obstacle course and me, Grace and Harriet always got stuck and Zack stood on my neck! OUCH!!!

My favourite bit was at the end of the party when we had this giant water fight-girls V Boys!
We had this slippery mat and we covered it in soup and water and then slid down it. You had to do this giant run up and then you'd dive down onto your stomach and slide down getting soaked.

:( We all started crying when it was time to leave, but I've got everyone's mobile number so hopefully we'll stay in touch and still all be best friends-even the boys! :)

if you've ever smelt a wet dog in you're life, you are very unlucky. my dog LOVES water and she is SOAKING at the moment because she got into our paddling pool and we sprayed her with the hose pipe! i hope nobody is TOO hot at the moment!

Sad to know that the lancaster family is leaving us. will have to keep in touch will them and love the comments on here. love your house lily and the dog is very good, hope you are ok and can't wait for you to come to my house, the bite on my dog is getting better by the minute. Please start collecting the vouchers for Cooking for schools found on the packets of Flora butter!! So far we only have 17!! The more we collect the more equipment we can get to open up cookery club to more years. Get collecting and then either register them online or bring the voucher to me in school!!!

Ah! I NEED to go to school! I'm bored of being stuck in the house! Mind you, I do enjoy taking my little puppy for a walk, I'll miss that when I go back. And I'll probably say when we go back to school tomorrow that I want a holiday because we don't get homework! (In the half term hols we do but not in the normal hols.) Nobody was meant to have homework in our class but we had to hand in a project and I was away when we had to hand it in then Mrs Lancaster was away so I had homework in the holidays. Ah! Just think, everyone in my class doing nothing but watching telly and I have to do homework! Well, I enjoyed it I suppose so I shouldn't complain!

I had a great time at the Royal Albert Hall it was fabulous with all the people dancing and cheering I went to bed at about 12:38 but it was worth it thanks Alexandra for inviting me too I made a monster so did phoebe!!!!!!!

The choir went to the Royal Albert Hall yesterday. We got back at midnight and my partner on the coach fell asleep on the way back so I had no one to talk to. Year 5 have a school trip tomorrow, and we had swimming on Tuesday, so we've had a busy week! There were quite a few upsets today because everyone was tired. Luckily, we were allowed to come in at eleven today, thank god! I hope everyone really enjoyed the trip yesterday and that they will enjoy the trip tomorrow! I'm really pleased with the OFSTED report because last time, we got satisfactory, and we didn't deserve that! I was in year 2 at the time and i remember it quite well!

SNOW! We never see it normally! My 1 year old puppy goes MENTAL in the snow! Any time I try to make a snowman with my sister x pupil Ellie (year 9,)she knoks it down! She doesn't care! When we had the day off on tuesday, my sister had to go to school! Hee hee! And only a third of the school turned up anyway! I sort of want to go to school tomorrow because I can play with my friends on the field! I think people should make the most of it because it doesn't fall very often! I tried posting a comment earlier today (7:30am) but I'm not sure if it got through so I'm trying again. This morning I was dissapointed school wasn't open again but then I thought having another day off today might be quite fun, as I' m allowed to go to work with my mum and that'll be quite enjoyable!

Hey everyone!

It's a shame there's no school again today but around my house is still covered in snow so I hope I can still enjoy it!

I enjoyed going outside in the snow greatly yesterday, me and my brothers built a big snowman and I got pulled around on a sledge too! (I fell off a couple of times though!)

I screamd loudly too! Greg took things a little too seriously as he was waxing the botttom of the runners with a candle! Good tip though to give you those few extra inches. Anyone up for the Fullers Champion Cup this morning?? Be there around 10am.

Me and kitty built a snow family with a mum,dad.baby & chicking it looked great!
Me,kitty,mum & dad went sleding at Fullers hill and it went really fast!!!
Then some of are friends came.
After we went home and had a lovely hot Drink

Went to Lowndes Park with the girls and yes .... those screams were of me being pulled on the sledge down the huge hill by Misbah. No other mums were sledging and after having seen and heard me I'm not surprised! Nice to see that Jessica's and Rachael's mum has a sense of adventure. Mind you I'm already feeling the effects of sledging down a hill - ooohh my back! Have a safe day tomorrow.

WOW! how time flies, it is exactly 62 days till xmas! (when I wrote this anyway!) thanks Lolli, she will know why and I hope all the teachers enjoy their holiday. I was looking through the school activities page, and thought " I can't remember seeing a gym club on the club form." Is there such thing as a Chesham Bois gym club? There wasn't any information about it. Please tell me because I would like to know more if there is a Gym club.

I really liked Mr Chaimblin. He had a very warm personality and was very funny. It was great having him. Unfortunately i cannot see all the balloon debate because of guitar lessons. Any chance of cancelling guitar?? I so want to see the balloon debate, and Caliegh isn't telling anyone what she is but she has a fencing sword- thingy so I think she might be a musketeer. Thankyou to the Y6 pupls who put together a really good asembly today around the theme of MacMillan Cancer support. I was particualrly impressed with the air guitar performances of some of you in the school! It was good to honour Mrs Penniston today. Hello , many many years ago back in 1982 i left a much loved Chesham Bois School .At the time Mr Buckingham was the Head teacher with a few teachers names i can remember of the time Mrs Anderson, Mrs Sherry , Mrs Groom , Mrs Kirkwood, Mrs Julieff, Mrs Law and Mr Barker and Mrs Law in the office .The school then had teams of leopards, tigers and jaguars .my great memories were sports day on the field .Do any teachers still keep in touch ? i hold many more happy memories .Rowena Howe

I used to attend the school in the early 1970's when Mr. Buckingham was the headteacher. I now live in Stoke-on-Trent and work in a school, when the children ask which schools did I used to go and I say Chesham Bois, they hear the "boys" and say "You didn't go to a boys school did you Miss?"

Just a suggestion following todays postponed year 5 trip to Henley. There were a number of people who were not aware that it had been cancelled, so the Round Robin failed again. Have to say that being a W the message never gets through. Could the contact list be started from the bottom aswel as the top, then everyone gets a better chance of a call and getting the message.

I can't wait till the PGL trip hope everyone is looking forward to it too :-)

Well done to all the children who turned up at school today dressed up as book characters. It was lovely to see that everyone had made so much effort and there were some fantastic costumes. James was there with his giant peach; Jack Sparrows galore; Snow Whites; Cinderellas; Woodys (from Toy Story); Sherlock Holmes; Mr Tumnus; Anne of Green Gables; Shrek; Winnie the Witch; and of course Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny took time out from Hogwarts to visit Chesham Bois! The balloon debate was great (as it always is) and I feel very privileged to be a 'Very, Very Important Person' and help out with the judging.

I can't wait for next year's book week!

Hello from Australia, I went to this school for 2-3 years in 1956/57. My mum (nee Jean Cook) who is now 85, went to the same school as a child. We lived in Lexham Gardens. I saw the school in 2000 when I re-visited Engalnd for the first time. I have 3 brothers one (Keith), also went to this school. Thanks for allowing me to visit & leave my comments, Philip Bradshaw, Western Austraia.

It's always great to see messages in our guestbook from parents and pupils. Are you a new parent or child at the school? How are you getting on? We'd love to hear from you. I have just spent a very enjoyable day painting in class 2's classroom - but it was a shame there were only 4 of us there! I would encourage everyone to join in over the next 2 weekends, as so much more could be done - the classroom looks great and I hope Mrs Taylor likes it!

I also have another request to be added to the class pages - please could the teachers add which days of the week each class does PE, especially outdoor games for the juniors, so that we can remind the children to take their trainers and tracksuits into school? Thank you.

Firstly, thank you to all of Class 6 who have had an amazing last term at Chesham Bois including a residential trip, The Jungle Book Show and the Citizenship Award. You have been amazing and are a credit to the school. As the long summer holidays stretch ahead of us we’d love to hear about all the different places everyone at the school visit and the activities you are involved in. Dear everyone who put on such a magnificent afternoon tea for the school helpers – thank you for such a lovely afternoon. It was my first helper’s tea so I didn't quite know what to expect and to see the whole school put on such a great show was really great. I was especially impressed by the choir - beautiful songs beautifully sung - they brought a real lump to my throat. Well done everyone. I'm hoping for an invite to next year's tea already!

I really like Mrs Webb because when I was in year 2, I performed at the CAF( Chesham Arts Festival) and she wrote a poem for me!!!!!!!!!!!! Also she is really nice and if you have done something really horrible to someone, she will never shout at you! I bet you even the nicest teachers in the world would shout if you did something really naughty (NOTE: This is a shorter version of my comment, I think that mrs Webb is Great) One more quick thing, I think that Mrs Brown is really nice!) It's a shame the snow went. On thursday the 8th my brother's (Haydn, ex class 6) friend (Dan, ex class 6) came round came and all our estate had a huge snowball fight. I think my teacher gets very over excited when we do maths. But it makes learning fun. My teacher is Mrs Lancaster. Mrs Lancaster is very fun to have as a teacher.
